Etisalat Blackberry Internet Service (BIS) Data allowance, the truth

There has been so much confusion regarding the data allowance on Etisalat BIS plans, some people claim it is unlimited, some say its 1GB  and others, 3GB.

Well, here is the truth and can be verified from Etisalat's official site. Nunmber 31.


S/N TIME DATA ALLOWANCE
1 Daily 50MB
2 Weekly 500MB
3 Monthly 3GB



So that's it. The cold truth. Etisalat doesn't provide an unlimited data allowance on any of it's BIS bundle.

  1. please I subscribed for monthly BIS @1,000 and I was given 3Gb but its not functioning I mean I can't do anything with it. what could be the problem?

  2. I have an itel-1503 android which has BBM application. Please can I subscribe for 3GB data for 1 month through the BBM App instead of removing my SIM for Blackberry device?

    1. Hi Adegoke,

      No, it won't work. The system is configured to notice the phone make and only allow Blackberry phone. It doesn't matter if you have a BBM app.
