The Ultimate Future I See For My Business

, , No Comments

I see it very clearly. In the end, the main business I want to be in is one of mass market web and mobile apps products.

There are so many ideas I have and so many things I see lacking here that I just have to build them myself. It is going to be a core area for me, business-wise, and I am not willing to have it outsourced to someone else or apps development company. I want the product development to be fully in-house and constantly improved on. I would rather outsource the marketing of the apps than consider saving time with the outsourcing of the apps themselves.

The future is one of innovative localized products, built from scratch up with the Nigerian customer in mind. No bloat or used of generic foreign templates. They would be just as easy to use and well built as the foreign apps we love using. And when I finally hit gold with that area, I don't mind shutting down the entire Excel and data analysis consulting business to focus on only products.

I have been consistently honing my programming skills. Lately, my focused learning has been on user login and authorization management for both web platforms and mobile platforms. I am deliberately learning the bits I need to build the type of consumer facing apps I really want to create in the end.

It is going to be a long and tough journey so I am not in a rush. There is no opportunity I am missing nor any need to fear about wasting time. Apps development is where I want to spend the rest of my life and focus my business, so I had better take all the time I need to get it right.
