The Three Books I Have Bought This Year

, , No Comments
This year I have been trying to read some of the very many books I bought last year, so though I have been reading a lot, I have bought just three books.

Today I will giving you a very short review of the three books I already bought this year.

1. Organizational Behaviour by David A. Buchanan & Andrzej Huczynski

It's a very expensive book I had to buy to get a job done. But it's full of extremely useful knowledge for an entrepreneur or aspiring business manager. It was from it I got the Myers–Briggs Type Indicator personality assessment I wrote about last week.

It's more of an academic text.

2. On Writing by Stephen King

Stephen King is one of the greatest writers alive. And in this book he shares his very inspiring story of how it all began and how aspiring writers like me can achieve the remarkable.

3. The Innovators: How a Group of Hackers, Geniuses, and Geeks Created the Digital Revolution by Walter Isaacson

Walter Isaacson specializes in biographies. He wrote that great book on Steve Jobs. I now have four of his books, all biographies: Benjamin Franklin, Albert Einstein, Steve Jobs and The Innovators. The Innovators is more of a biography of the computer world we now live in. It's about how it all began and the geniuses who created it all.

You can't read his book and not want to make something tangible, beyond money, out of your life. If you are technology inclined I recommend you read this book. But for everyone, I recommend you read the one on Albert Einstein and you will be pleased to know that genius is not in the genes but a combination of values and decisions.

And those are the three books I have bought this year. Bought any interesting book this year that you would like to share?
